Kinesiology Therapist
Shazia, a qualified primary school teacher from London, underwent a significant career transition to become a Kinesiologist after witnessing life-changing results in her son from just one session with a kinesiologist in Dubai. This experience fuelled her determination to delve deeper into the field.
Throughout her professional journey, Shazia actively participated in community projects centered around education and child development. Teaching in various schools in the UK and UAE strengthened her commitment to supporting children’s learning. Her attraction to kinesiology stemmed from its ability to empower both children and adults, allowing them to realise their full potential. Shazia discovered that she could facilitate the development of a growth mindset and assist in releasing negativity and trauma in a gentle, non-invasive manner.
Upon relocating to Dubai in 2007, Shazia encountered the realm of educational kinesiology, an experience that not only transformed her own outlook on life and learning but also impacted her family. Recognising the empowering potential of kinesiology, she understood how it could help individuals overcome challenges and unleash their full potential. Using gentle bio-feedback programs and specific movements, Shazia facilitated the release of tension and blocks in both children and adults.
The process of guiding individuals through self-improvement and discovery became a source of amazement for Shazia. Transitioning into a kinesiology practitioner in 2013, she has been based in Abu Dhabi since 2018. Over the years, she has worked with a diverse range of individuals in the UAE, providing primarily individual sessions and group sessions. Kinesiology, in Shazia’s hands, proves effective for releasing emotional and physical stresses, setting goals, improving posture and coordination, understanding the link between the brain and the body, increasing energy levels, and reducing pain.
