Dance Teacher
Julie is a dance teacher, professional dancer and choreographer who has been working internationally for the last ten years in Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, and the United Arab Emirates. Originally from Redding, California, Julie’s first dance classes were in ballet, and later expanded to weekly tap, jazz, and modern classes at The Redding Dance Centre under the direction of Deborah Larsen. During her high school and college years, Julie attended several summer dance intensives including: The Jillana School in New Mexico, American Ballet Theatre in Texas, Bates Summer Dance Festival in Maine, and the White Mountain Summer Dance Festival in New York.
She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2012. After graduating, she danced in the parades at Disneyland as well as a contemporary ballet company called Jessica Kondrath/the movement. She has performed with Disney in the USA, Japan, and Hong Kong; Warner Bros. World in Abu Dhabi; and has taught dance and choreographed in the USA, UAE, Australia, and Singapore. Her most recent credits include performing as the Host and lead performer in Hong Kong Disneyland’s award-winning production of “Let’s Get Wicked”
